SkiDecide is an independent ski-holiday decision-support website. This notice explains the limited personal information processed when you use the site or contact us.

Information we process

The core trip finder is designed to work without an account. Trip preferences such as departure airport, dates, party size, ability, budget, transfer tolerance and priorities are used to generate results. The current finder does not ask for your name, postal address or payment details.

If you email us, we process the information you choose to include in that message so we can respond. Our hosting and website infrastructure may also process normal technical information such as IP address, browser information, requested URLs, timestamps and security logs.

Why we process it

We process information where necessary to provide and secure the website, respond to enquiries, diagnose faults, prevent abuse and improve the service. Where legitimate interests are relied on, those interests are limited to operating, protecting and improving SkiDecide in a proportionate way.

Analytics, advertising and profiling

Non-essential analytics, advertising and marketing tracking are not enabled in the current site build. If that changes, this notice and the cookie controls will be updated before those technologies are introduced where consent is required.

Sharing and processors

Technical data may be processed by providers that host or support the website and its infrastructure. We do not sell personal information. Commercial booking providers are separate services: if you choose to follow a booking or affiliate link, their own privacy terms apply.

Retention

Finder preferences are not intended to create a personal account record. Server and security logs are retained only as needed for operation, troubleshooting and security. Email correspondence is retained for as long as reasonably necessary to handle the enquiry and maintain appropriate business records.

Your rights

Depending on the circumstances, UK data-protection law may give you rights over personal information we hold about you, including access, correction, deletion, restriction and objection. To ask a privacy question or exercise a right, email hello@skidecide.com.

We will update this policy when the service, processors or data flows materially change.
